Veins àblood vessels carry blood towards the      heart
veins are much thinner and the space          inside them is much larger
do not have elastic walls
contains valves to led the blood flow in        one way towards the heart




Capillaries à where gas exchange takes place.
 very tiny, thin walls made up of only one   layer of cells
